Oscar was born in Canada and moved to the United States in 1957 where he began his hockey life. At home on the ice,
he played hockey throughout Jr. High and High School and on semi-pro teams such as The Fitchburg Royals and East
Hartford Canadians. Still wearing the "C" he can skate with the best of them! As one of the original Fitchburg
Old Timers traveling team, Oscar can tell us countless amusing stories of the past, if he can get the words correct! Oscar's nickname -- given to him by his old friend for life Albie "Seboau". His teammates named him C-Bone. This year Oscar's son Charlie has joined the team as another second generation player. So keep your head up Charlie! |
